Things you need to check while purchasing IMate

I have been an IMate user since a long time and have used some of their devices, there are a few issues and problems which are common in their platform, hence while purchasing your IMate phone have a look around below points:

1) It must be running Windows Mobile 6, as there is a huge difference btw the performance of windows mobile 5 & 6.

2) Speakers are usually of low quality and the result is poor when you take a call on loud speaker

3) Low Battery Life as compared to other mobile phones.

4) GPRS hangs after regular intervals and phone service is required to be restarted.

5) In Country like Pakistan there is no direct support for IMate and they partner with service providers like UM so once there is a problem, your life is likea Hell ! unless you get in touch directly with their Dubai office for support but that is delivered via service partner.

6) The life of screen is not that much again and can give you trouble.

7) Guys sitting at UM & IMate are really helpful, if you are able to approach them, i have experience this twice.

8) No body agrees to buy your 2nd hand IMate phone.

9) Camers quality is not upto the Mark.

10) While transferring the objects via bluetooth with any other cell phone you can get some hard time.

IMate offers you cheap windows based mobile solutions but the advance features of these phones can start bugging your passion !.....
